Adult Basic Education Schedule
We offer one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing and basic math throughout Chatham County at times and locations agreeable to the tutor and student. Our sites include:
- The Chatham County Literacy Center in Pittsboro
- CCLC’s Siler City Tutoring Center
- Carolina Meadows in North Chatham County
- Galloway Ridge in North Chatham County
- Other public locations across the county – such as churches, restaurants and libraries – that are convenient for the student and tutor.
We also provide one-on-one computer literacy training at our Siler City Tutoring Center.

English as a Second Language Schedule
Group classes
Siler City Tutoring Center
- ESL: Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m.
- ESL & Math: This class is being developed and will be offered soon.
- Citizenship: Friday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.
Nature Trail Community Center, North Chatham County
- ESL: Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and Tuesday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m.
Individual tutoring
We offer one-on-one ESL tutoring at times agreeable to the tutor and student. The sites include:
- Pittsboro: CCLC Literacy Center
- Siler City: CCLC Literacy Center
- North Chatham County: Galloway Ridge, Carolina Meadows, Nature Trail community center
- Throughout Chatham County: At churches, restaurants, libraries and other public locations that are convenient for the student and tutor.
