Take the first step
The Chatham County Literacy Council’s trained tutors help adults build their basic communication skills, attain a high school equivalency diploma, or learn to speak, read and write in English when it is not their primary language. Our small-group and one-one-one tutoring sessions are free and are offered at a variety of sites around the county.
If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, click on What we offer, take a look at our Student FAQ, check out our Schedule – then take the first step!
If you would like to work with adult learners as a volunteer tutor, see our Tutor FAQ page for more details.
